The Woman: Yoonjin
I grew up in Maryland as a “1.5 generation” Korean – born in Korea, but moved to the States when I was only a year old. Now… I feel kind of like a nomad. I’m a consultant based out of Houston, so I travel at least 4 days a week for business. I’m also in a long distance relationship so I spend many weekends in New York. My work style is heavily impacted by my travel – easy, simple dresses in different colors that I can re-wear weekly without drawing too much attention to the fact that I haven’t been home to swap out my closet. Plus – packing just 4-5 dresses means I don’t dedicate too much of my suitcase space to clothes for work. The rest of my suitcase is usually dominated by my workout clothes. I’m a certified yoga teacher and finding ways to stay active on the road is usually one of my top priorities.

The Look
This simple navy dress is the perfect business casual outfit for day to day at the office. It’s navy hue adds a formal tone, and the nude heels add some height to the look. Some  foundation polishes off the look so that you look put together for a meeting, just like Yoonjin does. For a more casual look with some flair, add a necklace or bracelet. In colder climates, you can easily throw a solid or patterned blazer on top to keep warm.
